High Visibility Waistcoat Fluorescent –

The blackrock high visibility waistcoat is designed with fluorescent yellow material which makes up the background, with retro-reflective tape located vertically over each shoulder and a further two horizontal bands around the torso.

For the design of the garment to be efficient and effective the retro-reflective material measures 50mm in width, which allows the wearer to be visible from the front and the back during both day and night, providing no other clothing is placed over the top.

In addition, the hook and loop front fastening offers the wearer a secure comfortable fit that can be worn over the top of clothing. This quick and easy fastening method is great for people who may need to evacuate an area (fire alarm) quickly and reduces the risk of struggle if the garment gets caught on an object or machinery when the wearer will urgently need to remove the garment to avoid injury.

Black trim edges provide a neat and tidy finish to the waistcoat whilst also ensuring no excess thread on the ends of the garment is loose. This reduces the risk of the garment catching on objects/machinery and prolongs the lifespan of the garment.

En20471 is an international standard used to highlight the requirements needed for visible workwear. Within en20471 there are 3 classes that a garment can conform to depending on the working environment the garment is used in and how well the product protects the wearer in said environment, with class 3 being the highest class achievable.
